The City is seeking any resident who would be interested in serving as a City appointed resident representative to the Prince William County Community Criminal Justice Board (CCJB). 

The purpose of the CCJB shall be to enable Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park in combination to develop pretrial court services and community-based corrections programs consistent with the Community Comprehensive Corrections Act (CCCA) and Pretrial Services Act (PSA).  Refer to Virginia Code §9.1-173, et seq., and §19.2-152.2, et. seq.  The Board shall be a multi-disciplinary entity organized to coordinate efforts of the different jurisdictions to reduce crime and recidivism.

There is one (1) appointed resident representative for this Board. Interested residents should email their resume and a short description of why they are interested in serving to Lana Conner at l.conner@manassasparkva.gov 

All CCJB meetings take place at 5:00 PM at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center Board Conference Room. Meetings are held quarterly, unless otherwise noted. The 2020 meeting calendar is:

  • January 28, 2020
  • April 28, 2020
  • July 28, 2020
  • October 27, 2020
