Mission: To perform all duties prescribed by the laws of the Commonwealth relating to the assessment of property and taxes in a fair and equitable manner. To diligently and carefully maintain all records in this office to ensure they are accurate and thorough to the best of our knowledge and ability.
The Commissioner of the Revenue's primary responsibility is assessing the value of personal property, business personal property, machinery & tools, issuing business licenses, and processing State Income tax returns. This Office also maintains owner records for real estate parcels.
