Voter Registration

Residents must be a registered voter in order to vote in local, state and federal elections.  There is no requirement that you specify your party affiliation when you register. Residents must register no later than 21 days before the election in which you plan to vote.  To register, the following requirements must be met.

1.      Be a citizen of the United States
2.      Be 18 years older by the next November General Election
3.      Be a resident of Virginia
4.      Have had your voting rights restored if you have ever been convicted of a felony
5.      Have had your capacity restored if you have been declared mentally incapacitated

Applications to register to vote are available at a number of locations, by mail and online.

Where to Vote

Currently, there are two precincts for Manassas Park.
 
·       The voting (poll) location in Precinct One is at the Manassas Park High School Gym.
·       The voting (poll) location in Precinct Two is at the Community Center in Costello Park.

To locate your specific precinct polling place, call the Registrar at 703-335-8806 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day

Absentee Voting

If you will be unable to vote at your polling location on election day you may request an application for an absentee ballot.  Ballots are available 45 days before each election.  If you would like to cast a ballot in-person, the office will be open for absentee Saturday’s from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  For questions regarding absentee voting and whether you qualify you can contact the Registrar or visit the State Board of Elections.  At this location you can download and print an application.
