Mission Statement
JohnEvans.jpgChief John Evans makes the following pledge:

The mission of the Manassas Park Police Department is to protect life, property, and civil order while creating and maintaining a proactive partnership with our residential and business community in an effort to enhance public safety and reduce fear and incidence of crime within the City of Manassas Park.

We must strive to set a standard of excellence for others to follow both individually and collectively. In keeping with this goal, we have adopted the following concise mission statement that reflects the fundamental principals of our agency.

We pledge to work with community leaders and members to form a partnership that improves the quality of life and promote safe and secure neighborhoods and commercial districts within our community.

We pledge to maintain order in our community recognizing that all inhabitants are afforded equal rights and that each is treated with the utmost respect.

We pledge to extend beyond the scope of traditional police services to provide a quality of life for our citizens that is second to no other community through cooperative efforts with other government agencies, citizens groups and organizations.

We, the members of the Manassas Park Police Department, make this pledge in an effort to provide the citizens of Manassas Park quality police services while affording all inhabitants the dignity and respect they deserve.
