The police officers, emergency communication specialists, administrative support and command staff personal of Manassas Park Police Department (MPPD) want to wish that all of their residents and daily visitors DRIVE SMART, SAFE, and SOBER this holiday season and throughout 2007. MPPD will be participating in several pro-active DUI (driving under the influence) initiatives; such as sobriety checkpoints and mobile selective enforcement details, in support of the “NONE for the ROAD” campaign from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
