Position: Site Supervisor
Location: City of Manassas Park

Grade: 4(PR Scale) Hourly Wage: $8.25
The City of Manassas Park, Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a Site Supervisor who will provide facility oversight at various locations on evenings (after 5 p.m.) and weekends (full shift). Work is performed under the general direction of the Administrative Assistant.
General Job Information
Definition of Position:
The Site Supervisor serves as general recreation support staff. The Site Supervisor monitors the facility, assists in the administrative functions of program support, front desk operations and receptionist functions.
Essential Functions:
o Monitor and record facility usage.
o Assist in program maintenance by performing general program support
o Receiving all registrations
o Answering phones and taking precise messages
o Answer general agency queries
o Trouble shoot patron issues/complaints
Required Qualifications (minimum)
o Education: must be at least 18 years of age
o Physical: N/A.
o Experience: No experience necessary, ability to adapt to changing situations; or any equivalent combination of education, training or experience which provides;
o Experience in general office/clerical operations.
o Ability to use multi-line phone system
o Ability to interpret and explain Parks and Recreation policies, rules, and procedures to employees.
o Ability to deal effectively with the general public, private vendors, and other employees.
o Availability to work additional hours during peak operation season that will include evenings and weekends.
o Must have demonstrated writing and speaking skills with the ability to establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with elected and appointed officials, other governmental agencies, corporate and other private sector representatives and members of the general public.
