Jim Zumwalt was appointed Manassas Park City Manager January 2011. Before coming to Virginia, Mr. Zumwalt served for 12 years as city manager in Paducah, Kentucky. His more than 40 years of local government experience includes public administrative positions with county governments in South Carolina, Baldwin and Alachua counties and Boca Raton in Florida, Kingsport, Tennessee, Lee County, Virginia and Baldwin County and Bay Minette in Alabama.
Mr. Zumwalt is a military veteran with a bachelor's degree from Rice University and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
