For any citizen who is interested in running for Manassas Park City Council the deadline to turn in all candidate paperwork is June 8, 2010 by 7:00pm. Candidate packets will be available starting January 11, 2010 upon request by calling (703) 335-8806. Packets will be printed on a as need basis and request should be made 24 hours in advance. Forms are also available on the State Board web site www.sbe.virginia.gov.
Three City Council offices will be voted on as well as a special election to fill an unexpired vacancy. The date of the election is November 2, 2010. Voter Registration is located at City Hall, One Park Center Court.
